Great celebration of Festival of Port in Nice with local name Lou Festin dou Pouort took place yesterday, on September, 5. Irina Balakari visited the event and shared with us that fantastic atmosphere and her charming photographs.
La Fête du Port first held in 2004 and has become one of the most favourite festivals for the whole family. It has huge variety of attractions and entertainment, including live music performed by the famous bands, wheels, floats, garden for children with paper fish-designing, creative workshops, demonstrations of the best of traditional local niçoise cuisine and of course, street artists performing fireshows.
‘Chefs’ Village’ was the paradise for foodies where top chefs prepare their specialities for sampling at very reasonable prices per portion. All around port you could try cheese, macaroons, socca and so much more!

Everyone was enjoying the time to the fullest when it's not about how much money you spend on the event. This festival has its own spirit making everyone simply happy with simple pleasures of life!
